Impacting the Communities We Serve
At Lantern Learning Group, our commitment to service extends beyond the classroom. We are united by the belief that strong schools build strong communities—and that giving back is both a responsibility and a privilege. Across our network of schools and brands, we support meaningful causes that reflect our values and make a lasting impact on children, families, and educators.
Our philanthropic efforts are led by Melissa Anderson, our Chief Impact Officer, and are woven into the culture of both our corporate team and every school we support. Through local drives and national partnerships, we empower staff, families, and students to serve others with compassion and purpose.
Our Philanthropic Partnerships
Our schools participate in both centralized and locally-driven initiatives that support those in need, including:

Arms of Hope
Lantern Learning Group is honored to support Arms of Hope, a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit dedicated to assisting children and single-mother families in crisis. Through its innovative programs, Arms of Hope provides residents with basic necessities and essential life skills to help them become self-sufficient, productive members of society. Since 2012, we have sponsored children at Medina Children’s Home, ensuring they receive Christmas gifts each year. In 2022, this Christmas initiative expanded to include Boles Children’s Home, extending our impact to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Lantern Learning Group remains committed to serving vulnerable children and families across Texas.
Compassion International
Lantern Learning Group proudly supports Compassion International through The Pillars Christian Learning Centers. Compassion International is a Christian child-sponsorship program that connects donors with children living in poverty through prayer, letter writing, and financial support. Through this partnership, multiple children are sponsored across The Pillars schools. In addition to financial sponsorship, students in our Mission Club write letters to the sponsored children, learn about the regions where they live, and explore how we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of others—even those halfway around the world. This initiative reflects Lantern Learning Group’s commitment to fostering compassion, service, and global awareness in the next generation.

Pursuit Church Food Bank
Lantern Learning Group is proud to support Pursuit Church SA’s Monthly Food Pantry through The Pillars Christian Learning Centers. Since 2022, The Pillars has contributed to this mission through ongoing food collections, monetary donations, and monthly volunteer efforts from our team members. We are honored to stand alongside Pursuit Church as they work to meet the basic needs of families in their community, and we remain committed to helping ensure that no child or family goes without the essentials. Through The Pillars, Lantern Learning Group is dedicated to giving back and supporting the communities we serve.
BOOST by HINGE
Lantern Learning Group is proud to partner with BOOST by Hinge, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting early childhood educators through emergency financial assistance. These devoted professionals play a vital role in shaping the hearts and minds of our future leaders, often while facing significant emotional and financial challenges. BOOST provides critical support in times of crisis, empowering educators to continue delivering the high-quality care and education our children deserve. By supporting BOOST, Lantern Learning Group helps ensure that the incredible individuals who nurture and guide young children receive the care and assistance they need when it matters most. Together, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of these essential educators.

The Rise School
Lantern Learning Group is proud to partner with The Rise School, an inclusive early childhood education program that serves children ages 12 months and up, including those with developmental delays such as Down syndrome and autism. Through this partnership, Lantern supports The Rise School’s mission to provide high-quality education in a nurturing, inclusive environment where children of all abilities can learn and grow together. The Rise School’s model fosters acceptance, celebrates differences, and builds a strong foundation for lifelong learning and social development. Lantern Learning Group is honored to contribute to this impactful work and to stand alongside an organization that aligns with our commitment to supporting the whole child and creating opportunities for every learner.

A Culture of Service in Our Schools
Giving back is more than an initiative—it’s part of who we are. We engage our students in age-appropriate ways to help them understand kindness, empathy, and generosity. We encourage our staff to lead and participate in giving opportunities that resonate with them. And we collaborate with families and community partners to expand our collective impact.
At Lantern Learning Group, we’re not just building great schools. We’re building communities that care.
